Ericsson-LG Enterprise’s Global Partner Awards Ceremony was held virtually across the world on the 25th of February 2021. The event was hosted by Global Head of Sales and Marketing, Ahed Alkhatib, with a special introduction from CEO Patrick Johansson.
Despite the circumstances leading to a virtual event, there was still a celebratory atmosphere among attendees from across the globe, along with the familiar sense of anticipation from all of the partners looking to pick up one of the prestigious awards.
The first set of awards were to commend some of the fantastic resellers across the world that have thrived despite the difficult circumstances faced in the past year.
Cloud and Collaboration have been a huge focus of the past year and it was important to recognize the teams that allowed for great new advancements in this field. Ultimately it was the UK’s Pragma who picked up the award for Cloud Partner of the Year, and Goldstar Telecom from Ireland who won Collaboration Partner of the Year.
Making strides to secure high-value contracts in the enterprise field is an especially commendable feat considering the challenges faced by businesses. One team stood out above the rest however and that was Turkey’s MN ILETISIM. Their efforts to secure some exceptional new contracts in the healthcare and hospitality fields were truly commendable.
Computer Telephony Distributing in the USA picked up an award for the fantastic solutions they have recently offered for contact centers. Meanwhile Pragma’s technical team received an award for their tireless work in making iPECS ONE into one of the most hotly anticipated communication products in the world.
Aria Technologies in Australia had a fantastic 2020. They achieved amazing growth both in terms of their product base and in securing some exiting new deals. This was recognized with them receiving both the award for Digital Transformation Partner of the year, as well as Service Provider of the Year. These achievements stemmed from the Aria team’s successful drive to promote customer experience above all, as demonstrated by their fantastic new contract with Telstra.
Following these awards, it was time to recognize the best and brightest teams from all over the globe with the regional awards. The winners here were:
- European Partner of the Year: Promelit Communication Systems – Italy
- Middle East & Africa Partner of the Year: Bezeq International Ltd – Israel
- Americas Partner of the Year: Vertical Communications Inc – USA
- Asia Pacific Partner of the Year: Atlas Gentech – New Zealand
Finally, in an unexpected but very deserved twist, the coveted Global Partner of the Year award was presented jointly to Aria Technologies and Pragma. Both of these teams had an incredibly successful 2020 despite the pandemic and were both more than deserving winners of this prize.
Aria’s CEO Chris Karaginnis was keen to highlight the great efforts of their team and their channel partners for the way they adapted so well to remote working and their performance on the Telstra contract.
Pragma’s Managing Director Tim Brooks was thrilled to receive the award for the third year running. He gave his thanks and congratulations to the teams at both Pragma and Ericsson-LG Enterprise for the effort and services that have helped them on the road to success.
While not every team walked away with an award at the ceremony, it was a fantastic occasion for everyone involved. We can’t wait for next year’s event and are looking forward to hopefully seeing our partners again face-to-face in 2022.
