Nha trang - Napolitan of the East, The Mediterranean of Vietnam
Nha trang’s beach is the most beautiful beach in Vietnam, called the “Napolitan of the East” and “The Mediterranean of Vietnam.” The six-kilometer-long, spacious beach is covered with fine sand, and the green palm trees stand everywhere, serving as a shield to cool off from the hot sun.
Several resorts, such as Beanpul, Diamond Bay and Ana Mandala, as well as amusement parks and water parks are located on urban and coastal islands, while the most beautiful streets of Najang are the Chuanfu Street along the beach and the Pacific Coast Highway in Vietnam.

“A space that presents the best time for the best.”
Essential Tips
Transportation
In Vietnam, it is not recommend to use public transportation when traveling due to safety reasons. Therefore, taxi, cyclo, or on foot is recommend when traveling to places in short distance.
Taxi
The most popular transportation among tourists.
There are several taxi companies, but the most famous and safe companies are the Green Mailinh, the White Binasun, and the Blue-printed Quoc Te.
The starting rate varies slightly depending on the size and type of taxi from 4,000 VND to 9,000 VND.
It is recommended to use a small taxi with a low starting rate to go nearby places, and a large taxi with a high starting rate to go a little further. It is not difficult to grab a taxi, however, since most taxi drivers are not good at English, it is the fastest and most accurate to show the address in the local language of your destination or explain it to a large hotel or shopping mall around them.
*Tip1: It’s better to prepare a small bill in advance. Be sure to check the change because you often don’t receive the change properly!
*Tip2: Do not pay by the taxi meter, discuss the pre-board fare, especially when traveling from the airport.
Cyclo
It is worth a ride when tourists make a short move in the city.
Before boarding, the route, the destination, travel time, and fare need to be arranged with the driver. The fare is not fixed, so bargaining is a must.
Fare: 100,000 – 150,000 VND (10 – 15 min.)
*Tip1: It is better to say ‘no’ when the driver offers to stop by somewhere or suggests to go in a different route since there can be extra charges when getting off Cyclo.
*Tip2: There is a city bus, but it is difficult for travelers to use. You can rent a motorcycle and drive it yourself, but it is not recommended due to lack of traffic lights or poor road conditions.
