The largest Business Communication Fair in North America, “Enterprise Connect 2018” in Orlando was held from 12th to 15th of March. The leading conference and exhibition is for enterprise IP Telephony, Converged Networks and Unified Communications. Enterprise Connect brings corporate IT decision makers together with the industry’s vendors, analysts, and consultants to focus on the issues central to enterprise networks and communications.
“There’s a lot of change taking place in the enterprise communications industry at large.”, Eric Krapf, Enterprise Connect General Manager and program chair, summed it best in his chairman’s welcome speech to delegates.
The primary themes at Enterprise Connect 2018 centered around Cloud and Contact Center, Web Conference, and business productivity applications which all are seamlessly aligned within a single value proposition of “digital transformation”. In addition, there were a lot of discussions on the future of API’s and the role of CPaaS.
It is important to note that while technology transformation is underway in the industry for enterprise communications, every enterprise and market will transform at a different pace with the goal of improving productivity and reducing costs in their business.
