Ericsson-LG Enterprise visited the largest Business Communication Fair in North America, “Enterprise Connect 2016” in Orlando from 7th to 10th on March. “Enterprise Connect 2016” is composed of Cloud & UC service, UC & Mobility, UC & Cloud Hybrid, Comm API, WebRTC, Contact Center and Video Conference sessions. Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft, as main vendors and numerous Carriers, Cloud platform service providers and etc, total 188 companies attended this year.
Keynote sessions were presented by Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft, Oracle and Google. Cisco emphasized their UC Client “Spark” as a new experience, and Microsoft introduced new version of MS Lync “Skype for Business with Cloud PBX” allied with Polycom & Logitech for Project Rigel.
Avaya introduced “Zang” 100% Cloud based communication platform as a service by APIs, and Google introduced Google Apps for work, to build for business & integrated with Dialpad.
To make attention of visitors, 188 booths were composed of various solution scenarios and themes. The WebRTC & Cloud was main subject at the keynote sessions and the most of the companies introduced collaboration solution based on Cloud platform.
The most impressive market trend is numerous partnerships among the vendors & S/W companies in order to develop more competitive collaborate applications. We have to make attention how those partnerships among main vendors & S/W companies are effect to the future market.
