At Ericsson-LG Enterprise, we continued to share and learn from the community of global partners through out 2021. Although in-person events are still largely inaccessible, iPECS insights sessions has been continued to be a valuable space to interact and collaborate in a inspirational way without boundaries of the distance. 

iPECS Insights began in 2020 and we have hosted nine webinars in 2021 to date. We take a look at the highlights of these fantastic presentations for year 2021.

 

1st half (February – June)

August

August iPECS insight forum was hosted by Ericsson-LG Enterprise Sales Engineer, Hangsuk Cho. The meeting centered around the updates that have arrived to the iPECS Unified 5.0, the new features coming in version 6.0.

iPECS Unified 5.0 launched in May 2021, and has provided a range of new functionality. One of the greatest changes is the enhancement of the iPECS vUCP, allowing businesses to access all the benefits of the iPECS UCP system, on an entirely virtualized system. iPECS Unified 5.0 features a zero cost iPECS vUCP trial for 90 days with every feature supported, allowing customers to understand the full benefit of the iPECS vUCP, before they invest.

September

September’s edition of insights was hosted by Ericsson LG’s Head of Sales and Marketing, Ahed Alkhatib, which was designed as an ‘open mic’ session. Global Partners could ask questions to both product and technical specialists from Ericsson-LG as well as their fellow global partners.

Ahed began by explaining that these sessions have such an immense value due to the fact that we often view the world as a global macro. The reality is that every market is nuanced and unique, and the more we understand the nuances of each market, the better developments we can make moving forward.

The collaboration across the session was hugely positive with partners from around the globe providing intuitive solutions to some of the most difficult challenges in our industry. From how to help businesses make the transition to the cloud, how to successfully market telephony to a business environment that has heavily adopted web-based collaboration software.

October

Partners were welcomed to October’s webinar by Keunsup Choi, Project Manager of iPECS Analytics, and was devised to take an in-depth look at the updates that have arrived in Analytics’ latest version. The new features included position iPECS Analytics as a powerful yet simple to use call reporting and cloud analytics solution.

Keunsup began his presentation with an overview of the Analytics platform. iPECS Analytics is designed to optimize workforces, increase productivity and improve customer experience. It is fully integrated with iPECS Cloud and is designed to provide valuable business insights for both on-site and remote teams. The insights delivered through iPECS Analytics are accessible from any device.

November

November’s edition of iPECS insights was hosted by Yuno Jung, Head of International Sales at Ericsson-LG Enterprise, and Bob Rankin, President at Presence Management. The theme of November’s presentation was “Driving digital transformation with essential business applications”, including some key case studies.

Yuno introduced the presentation by highlighting some of the challenges that are accelerating transformation in the business world today, such as supply chain issues, raw material shortages, and labor shortages. Digital transformation can be the gateway to businesses overcoming some of these challenges.

Bob Rankin and Matt Bauer from Presence Management, based in the United States, also delivered a presentation on how iPECS emergency features and API integration helped to create more value for their customers, and made their portfolio stand above the rest.
