Ericsson-LG Enterprise visited the largest Business Communication Fair in North America, “Enterprise Connect 2015” in Orlando from 16th to 19th on March. The 25th anniversary of “Enterprise Connect 2015” is composed of Unified Communication, Mobility, Cloud, WebRTC, Contact Center and IP Telephony sessions. Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft, Unify, Polycom as main vendors and numerous Carriers, Cloud Platform service providers and etc, total 175 companies attended this year.

Keynote sessions were presented by Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft and Google. Cisco introduced new UC Client “Spark”, and Microsoft introduced new version of MS Lync “Skype for Business” which was integrated with Skype. Cisco and Microsoft are more emphasizing UC Collaboration features among team users rather than 1 on 1 communication. Also they would continuously develop simple and easy UC client with end-user’s feedback.

Avaya introduced UC solution based on Cloud, and Google presented they would commercialize UC solution for business communication with Google applications.

To make attention of visitors, booths were composed of various solution scenarios and themes. Most of companies introduced UC solution based on Cloud and also user cases which were already installed. The WebRTC as a main subject was introduced by only several companies in the session. It will take time to commercialize WebRTC in the market. Mobility solution on the booth was not much different as before, but Video Conference Solution was introduced by most of companies with various themes. Impressive point of Video Conference Solution was user case of Remote medical care solution and Interactive education/training video solution.

The most impressive market trend is numerous partnerships among the vendors as Cisco & Microsoft and Avaya & Google. We have to make attention how those partnerships among main vendors are effect to the future market.
